Favorite Posts by Various Authors, by Joel and Kathy Davisson and Favorite Posts on Certain Subjects

Each helper can create a topic here, titled something like "Favorite posts by Joel and Kathy" - In this topic, the author can put copies of as many of their posts that are giving advice as they have time to copy to this section. This way, if you LOVE Dory's writings, or LOVE "For him, for her" writings, etc. you can read back to back posts by that particular author. The second "type" of topics in this section will be topics that are dedicated to certain issues. These will be a compilation of posts that are originally written to help someone in the other sections. For example, topics may be titled: "Posts addressing husband's whose wife is in an affair" or "Posts addressing a wife whose husband is in an affair" or "posts addressing blended family/step children issues" etc. This way, when someone has a certain problem, a helper can "draw" from this resource of archived letters to copy and paste some advice, and/or, more likely, a person will be able to be directed to check the entire topic out to get an overview of advice given to others who are having the same issue.This is a brand new section, as of March 14, 2008, and it will take time for it to get built up. Our helpers are all so busy giving help to hurting people, that no one has much time to spend archiving their writings - but, slow but sure. A post or two a day, and in a year, each helper can have a few hundred of their own writings in one long topic for people who LOVE their particular style of help.

The Other Side of the Fork in the Road - For Men and Women

It has been almost four years since first releasing "The Man of Her Dreams/The Woman of His!" We have been conducting Weekend Marriage Intensives for over 18 months as of June, 2008. So many couples have received astounding miracles of restoration and love, going on to live an Outrageously Happy Marriage. Occasionally, there is a husband who simply decides that he is NOT going to live an outrageously happy marriage. His wife has given her "all" in doing what she can to encourage a restoration and an outrageously happy marriage. In the end though, her husband absolutely refuses to participate in that restoration. This wife now has a "place" that describes her situation. Her husband is no longer in that place of "Working Against the Marriage." Instead, he has DECIDED not to have a marriage. This forum is for women who are on the new "Fork in the Road!" They have given there all - and it has not been enough. She has filed for divorce or a legal seperation that is probably heading toward a divorce. Her husband is not trying to win her heart back - and instead, he has made it completely clear that he is never, ever going to participate in a marriage restoration. Perhaps he filed for divorce. This section is for that wife who is embarking on the sometimes exciting, sometimes scary future as an unmarried woman (now or in the future) and as a single mom. Why isn't she in the "singles" section? Simple. We recommend that a wife stay private and seperate to the Lord for a period of two years after being physically seperated from her husband. She needs time to stabalize - and to get her feet solidly on the ground in her new life. For that wife who has spent herself in trying to have a restored marriage; God has you in mind. He seems to go to GREAT LENGTHS to bring you to a place of peace, security and supply asap. We will love to walk with you in this season of your life!In addition to getting help and encouragement in your journey - we would also like to hear your testimonies of how God has supernaturally supported and undergirded you as He has had to "step in" in the place that your husband has vacated. We are also opening this section for a husband who has been unable to win his wife's heart back - Most of the men we are working with are still in that "place" of working to win their wife's heart back - but there are and will be ones in the future who need a place to go to for that "in between" part of their life. They have not been able to win their wife's heart back after two years of dedication, following what we prescribe - or their wife is remarried and they are not interested in posting as a "single." They just want support for the solo journey they are living now. Men who post here must of course be FULLY embracing what we teach and believe about marriage and must have paid a price to attempt to win their wife's heart back working in our system of "Men who are working to win their wife's heart back". If a "new guy" has an ex-wife who is remarried, he can post here - but he has to be reading both books, watching the DVD set and we would recommend his attending an Intensive as a single man asap to get everything "straight" in his mind and heart concerning his past marriage(s) and to prepare for a future one. Men, feel free to write to us to ask if we feel that you should post in this section.. or post your full story here, asking for us to look at it and decide if you belong in this section.

We feel like couples should strive to be together as much as possible. Therefore, we do encourage couples to build a business together; on a part time basis; something they can do together; that will ultimately/possibly result in being a full time income. '

The goal would be to replace your "regular" job incomes so that you can live, love, laugh, play and work together, full time, all the time - without being tied to that time clock at work. This is a "perfect world" and may not be attained by all - but it is a great goal to work toward.

In this section, you may share ideas and business opportunities that you are doing that may contribute to reaching this "perfect" world in a couples financial life. Feel free to discuss network marketing, import/export, crafts - or any other potential income producing business ideas.

We believe that God's BEST PLAN is for couples to be TOGETHER as much as possible and with their children as much as possible.

We personally decided not to take any more month long trips to South Africa after losing Shekinah at 13 years old. We are going to wait until Josiah gets into college before we go on any more month long trips overseas to minister. Why? We believe even more now that it is our heavenly Father's BEST PLAN to have as much time as possible with our FAMILIES and with EACH OTHER as a couple.

About our Heavenly Father? About the Holy Spirit? Each day will start a new "topic" in this forum. Women's Group Call Recordings

This is a private access forum for the Women's Group. Kathy conducts one call each week. The call is to help those wives whose husbands ARE working to become great husbands.. and she needs some help in how to respond warmly and in how to correctly hold him accountable to change when he misses it. Kathy did this PERFECT and she is the EXPERT! Every wife whose husband is in process of change needs to be part of this call. Don't let your progress as a couple to be slowed by your lack on knowledge of how to properly relate to a husband who is working to change. Go for the Gold and don't settle for less. You don't want to take any longer than necessary to get to that HAPPY place - so let Kathy help you to do your part effectively! The women's group is $25 per month HOWEVER, if your husband is paying $100 per month for the men's group, then you are COVERED for the women's group. In other words, you don't have to be paying $100 plus $25 per month. $100 covers it all. The $25 covers your group call once each week with Kathy and gives you access to these recordings to review calls or listen to missed calls.
